For a long while you generally saw the same slew of websites listed as good locations to find “blog images” which generally came down to Flickr and a Creative Common search.

Just lately I found a new one …

/r/free_images

On this Sub-Reddit … “Here you find the best free high-resolution photos. You can use the photos everywhere. All photos are under the CC0 licence. This means you can copy, modify, distribute and perform the photos. The pictures are free for personal and commercial use. All without asking for permission or setting a link to the source.”

An image can be such a determining factor on whether or not people click through to the article (or share it on social media) you’ll be delighted to find some really wonderful photos in this resource you can use for your blog posts and projects.

Here are a few samples of what you can find in this sub-Reddit:

You’ll notice there aren’t too many images available at this time but it’s already begun to pick up speed and before long I’m sure it will become a great resource.

In relation to that CC0 license you see from as the statement:

The person who associated a work with this deed has dedicated the work to the public domain by waiving all of his or her rights to the work worldwide under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights, to the extent allowed by law.

You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission. See Other Information below.

Without a doubt you’ll find some incredible images you can use for your business. Browse around and see what you can find. Find a user, click on their name, and see their post history and you’ll certainly find even more incredible images. Hope you enjoyed this new image resource!
