Affiliate Marketing Forums, News and Resources
The world of affiliate marketing is like no other, not just because anyone can get started and start making money out of a corner room in their house with little to no budget… but also because everyone is so open about helping others make money online, and also the massive amount of affiliate training and news sites out there.
With that said, that is really no reason why you need to spend a lot of money on training courses or personal consulting. Instead, you can simply send the necessary amount of time to read the sources you have at hand. One of the most important factors in finding success with affiliate marketing is communicating with others and building strong relations.
In addition to affiliate networks that are always looking to offer support, I’ve created a nice list of useful directories, news resources, blogs and affiliate forums that can help you along the way. The majority of these resources are free, but I’ve also included a few premium forums that I am currently a member of, and recommend their sites.
Affiliate News Portals
With so many affiliate marketing blogs and news sources out there, how can you possibly stay up to date and find the best content? Through the use of affiliate news aggregate sites like AffDaily.com (Facebook Fan Page) and AffBuzz.com (Facebook Fan Page), you can instant see a listing of the top three most popular and trending posts in the past day, previous day and week. Each site also features a ton of well known affiliate blogs that you can quickly glance through and see their most recent articles.
Affiliate Offer Directories
A few years back, if you wanted to find which networks had the same affiliate offers and wanted to compare their different payout rates, you would have to log in to each of your accounts and it was a major headache! Now with the use of affiliate offer directories like oDigger and AffiliatePaying, you can simply visit their sites and perform a search for any offers you can think of. You will then get a nice selection of results that not only show you the relevant offers, but also their payouts and all of the networks that currently have the offers.
Affiliate Marketing on Twitter
With everyone using Twitter and Facebook, it’s making it extremely easy to connect and follow other well-known marketers online. Sure, you could join Twitter and start following everyone one person at at a time, or you can make use of some lists that are already out there. @JonathanVolk has created a great list of nearly 500 affiliate marketers who are currently on Twitter. To follow them all, simply follow his Affiliate Marketing list. AffDaily also has a full section on their site that profiles 20 different affiliate marketers on Twitter.
Affiliate Marketing Forums
Even with all of the other resources we have available, affiliate marketing forums are still one of the best ways to go when it comes to learning about what works and interacting with other online marketers. Depending on your marketing skills and who you like to interact with, there are plenty of different forums for you too choose from. Some of the most popular free forums are WarriorForum, ABestWeb, WickedFire, SitePoint and Digital Point.
In addition to the free forums, we are also seeing strong growth in paid membership forums. Two forums that I am currently an active member of are StackThatMoney and IMGrind. Both of these forums are made and run by affiliate marketers. The difference between paid affiliate forums and free ones, is that you have access to some amazing tools, case studies and everyone is willing to help you find success along the way. These premium affiliate forums usually range in the $100 a month range.
Now You Are Ready to Take on the Affiliate Marketing World!
Through our list of comprehensive resources, forums and ways to stay in touch with affiliate marketers through out the world, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to succeed in the world of affiliate marketing. Remember, don’t spend too much time researching and reading up on everyone else and what they are doing. It is extremely important for you to take action and start building your own campaigns and learning through your own successes and failures.
