Include each of one of these within your niche project work and you will certainly see an increase to your income within longevity of the efforts; here is what you need to know about…’
Making money with checklists
Checklists are great money making opportunities because they lay out exactly what you want people to use in order to reach some form of success in their goals. When you present yourself as an expert in a topic and then list those resources/steps within a checklist you are cutting through having to explain everything and replace with it immediately, actionable items.
Checklists work because a number of reasons:
- They are easy to make
- You can create them as downloads
- Include them with other offers
- Promote multiple products in one go
If you were to stumble on a checklist that offered you a way to begin earning an affiliate income which lists the steps and resources required to replicate the success of an individual (or brand) would you not find it helpful? It gives you the shortcut.
People naturally want to have an easier way to obtain success than spend hundreds of hours learning a new topic; it’s the reason why people are open to investing in those that can do the work versus the many hours it would take, otherwise, to do it themselves.
By tapping into this want to quickly jump into a niche you are grabbing those same individuals that are strapped for time; giving them this short cut is pure gold so when they see a product that can take them to their goal in a rapid fashion they are highly likely to invest.
Creation of these checklists is as easy as breaking down the essentials into something you could pass off to someone that has no completely interest in the subject.
To do this:
- Cut out the jargon
- Keep it within a respectable amount of checks (10-20)
- Always back each with some kind of resource
These checklists really work with any type of content or topic even if they seem extremely simple; sometimes people just need to be able to go step-by-step through something, check it out, and move onto the next without having to think too deeply on the inner workings of each step.
Once people are on a roll and have begun to check off items on the list they may hit a point in which you offer an affiliate product. If the affiliate product further progresses them along the checklist then they are naturally inclined to make that purchase to reach the next step.
In short: Find the popular posts and create a checklist that summarizes and curates the content down to steps that are less than a sentence long. Publish this checklist to add value to each of the posts or use it as alternative marketing methods. Give people the shortcuts, make sure to include the affiliate promotions, and gain from the condensation of knowledge into what would be a “cheat sheet”.
Checklists are about pure action.
When you create content you likely cover a broad scope of what needs to be done and by the time someone finishes the piece they may not be ready to make that first step. Checklists provides the person an avenue to get started and if it’s structured in chunks that are easily doable then the person will follow through the entirety of the list.
Checklists take very little effort to create but provide an immense value to your community. They are perfect for promoting affiliate products because you can make them required to complete points included in the list.
The main thing to remember is that this checklist must produce valuable results for those that follow through else it becomes another affiliate pitch that gets tossed to the side because there are financial, mental, or time blocks you didn’t consider. You want them to see that it can be done simply by following through; if there is friction then the checklist hasn’t done its job. In short: keep it in-depth but simple and you will see those commissions (and traffic) come rolling in.
