iPad 3 Launch: What It Means To Affiliates

It seems like only yesterday the Apple iPad 2 was released to the public. Just as users became familiar with this tablet and its many offerings, Apple decided it was time to move on. Although nothing is set in stone just yet, rumors strongly suggest that the iPad 3 will be released sometime during March 2012.

Before we get into what this means for affiliate marketers, let’s take a closer look at some of the features thought to be included in the iPad 3:

  • A6 Quad-core processor

  • iOS 5

  • Retina display feature

  • Cloud computing

  • Upgraded camera

Are you an Affiliate Marketer?

With every new iPad release by Apple, more and more people begin to move away from laptops and desktops and towards tablets (and of course, mobile phones). As an affiliate, this should mean one thing to you: make sure all of your websites are mobile friendly. If they aren’t, you are going to miss out on a lot of traffic and potential sales.

Are more people relying on apps as opposed to traditional web searches? In some cases, the answer is yes. While there is not much you can do about this right now, as technology advances you should begin to consider mobile advertising and whether or not it is an option for your business.

Promote Apple Products

Let’s face it: when it comes to technology the Apple brand is among the most trusted and well known in the world.

Pushing iPad accessories as an affiliate has never been easier. There are multiple third party companies that manufacture accessories for the iPad and other devices from Apple. Some of the most popular products include: speakers, cases, docks, pens, and keyboards.

With the iPad 3 launch date in the near future, there is no better time than now to create an affiliate strategy based around its release. Millions of people will flock to their local Apple store, as well as the brand’s online store, to purchase their iPad 3. From there, they will begin to look for accessories to customize their tablet. By getting your affiliate offers in front of these hungry buyers, your chance of success will go through the roof.

The iPad 3 is coming. How do you foresee this changing your affiliate business?

I have realized some significant things through your blog post. One other stuff I would like to state is that there are numerous games available and which are designed specially for toddler age children. They involve pattern recognition, colors, wildlife, and styles. These often focus on familiarization as an alternative to memorization. This will keep little ones occupied without experiencing like they are studying. Thanks
