Three New Affiliate Programs to Check Out
Looking for a new affiliate program can be challenging. Sometimes there isn’t the right product mix for your site. Other times you might find that a merchant with great product doesn’t have a generous enough commission rate. (Or worse, they might have a reputation for mistreating or not paying affiliates.)
Over the past few months, we’ve provided updates to this blog to help you in your search.
We’ve talked quite a bit about the Amazon Associates Program as well as affiliate networks such as ShareASale, Google Affiliate Network, and Commission Junction. One of the key takeaways from these posts is that you need to know about the programs you’re signing up for.
But you also need to know about new and interesting programs that could potentially help you build a better, more profitable business. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen several interesting announcements about interesting affiliate programs that could help your business. Here are some brief highlights of that news:
Quirky and Personal CafePress
CafePress is a great program for quirky, humorous affiliate sites as well as incentive and coupon affiliates. It’s an online merchant that allows users to make unique, personalized products. They offer on-demand printing of more than 250 million products, offering everything from personalized gifts and unique t-shirts, clothing, stationery, art, home decor, and much more.
Commission: 5 to 15%
Cookie Length: 30 Days
The New Circuit City
Circuit City, the bankrupt electronics brand that has seen new life as an online discounter, has a data feed program through GoldenCAN. When you use the GoldenCAN GetData feature, you’ll get the complete pre-formatted HTML that helps you integrate and display the Circuit City product catalog on your website. If you have a site that gets a lot of search traffic and is related to electronics or appliances, this is a terrific way to add a new program.
Even better for affiliates, there’s no “4th click” penalty for the data feed. Most data feed providers such as GoldenCAN make their money by taking the commission from every fourth click from an affiliate’s feed. That’s not the case here. As an affiliate, you can participate in this program without losing any of your valuable commission.
In addition to signing up for an account at GoldenCAN, you’ll need to sign up for the Circuit City program at Linkshare.

The program includes a weight loss elixir and online tools such as a daily journal, weight loss graph, a daily menu planner and other natural supplements and tips with the goal of helping members lose weight effectively and safely.
In addition, the spokesperson for this product is actress Kirstie Alley.
