If it is not such a competed keyword (less than 10,000 or 5,000 results for a quoted search) and the websites on Google's first page are not mostly page rank 6 or higher, you can get a well optimized website or blog to first page with as little as 10 high quality backlinks, like maybe 5 bookmarks and five high page rank article directories.
