I don't know if anything I have used can be classified as black hat
SEO. I have set up individual blogs and twitter accounts for multiple people within a company before and posted as all of them to get things started. Of course those all then linked to the site we were SEOing, so while it might just be best practice, you could make a case for it as black hat.
