What Kind of Advertising?

What kind of advertising do you all feel works best? E-mail blasts? Google/PPC?

I've always been under the impression that if you advertise at a place where people can see your ad over and over, it will do better. I'm just asking because I was thinking of advertising at this social site called www.JobDrama.com. I received their ad rates and it's very reasonable. I can advertise on the home page for as little as $24/month for a text ad. They have tons of hits and like over 200 members already. I know it's only $24 but I wanted to ask around first to see if it sounds like a good deal. I'm on a budget.

The good thing about this site though is that people who go there have "job drama" and are looking for career alternatives or ways to supplement their income. They even have a Work at Home group, so it sounds good.

If you're going to spam this site, it's probably not the best idea to have jobdrama listed in your profile as your "homepage" Nice try though.....
