Are Affiliate Conventions Worth It?

I was just reading this ASW Vegas post and it got me wondering what are the pros and cons for a new affiliate to go to one?

They are absolutely worth it, no matter what side of the coin you are on. I love to combine vacations + conferences together as they are usually in really nice places.

I think I just may buy a ticket to ASW they are cheap from canada .

I've never made it out to an affiliate convention before but I'd definitely love to.
