Has anyone seen these yt accounts where they have like 1 million views for a music video or song.... and a ringtone link in description? I wonder if that actually makes good money??

Depending on how much traffic the landing page gets, it could absolutely make big cash. Putting ringtone affiliate links in youtube videos is a very common grey hat method.
