XY7, is it because you have so many friends that are affiliate managers?

Are you looking for an outsourced affiliate manager to work with or someone specifically within a network or program niche? As Luke said, I'd totally be biased if I answered but if you're looking for someone within a certain niche program or network I might be able to help.

Default Leigh Rogers & Mike Messerle from Commision Junction

We use Commission Junction among other Affiliate Networks. Commission Junction has the best customer service by far. Leigh Rogers & Mike Messerle are not only there if we have questions, but are constantly working on bringing in more revenue for us. Although they are a large company they are very personable and are always there should we need them. They are a great company.

I've actually heard that the larger networks like CJ have bad customer service because they are so overpopulated. Have you ever tried any of the smaller affiliate networks?

Yes I have. My experiences with the smaller networks has been that they are very hands off in helping you manage and grow your affiliate program. Commission Junction is the exact opposite and is constantly giving us new and better ways to expand. We also have an in house network that we are successful with because we manage it well.

I think a better question would be: What makes a good affiliate manager?

That's what i'd like to know as well. Is it prompt response time? Constant updates of promotions etc.? supplying you with content for your site (which is probably duplicate content)?

In one word - I think affiliate support is very important (from motivation, to updates, to one-on-one consulting, reviewing website, suggesting promotion ideas, seo/ppc advice etc)

Default Buy.at

Hi,

Anyone uses buy.at?
I find them really good and ticking all the boxes for me. Always willing to help and open to suggestions for improvement, weekly promotions, vouchers etc, and generally friendly. My vote goes for them.
As to what an AM should have it's all that I mentioned just now.
