Wink How to fail at affiliate marketing

Just in case you guys want to fail at affiliate marketing I have some great tips for you.

-Try to sell everything to everyone. If it is out there, someone wants it, you should promote it on your site.

-Banner up the landing page. Since people might not go deeper into your site, make sure the landing page is covered in banners. Shoot for at least 85% of the surface area but anything higher than 75% is acceptable.

-Don't worry about search engines. Especially not Google. Searching the internet is so 2005. Now people just type random URL's and hope for the best, so pay a lot for a cool domain and stop there.

-Focus on design. Content is overrated. When was the last time you actually read something on the internet...(probably right now) just make it look good and the money will come flying in.

-Use your website as a place to serve your needs rather than those of the visitors. There are like 6 Billion people out there, who cares if most of them think your site is stupid and irrelevant, more will come eventually.

-Don't work with your affiliate managers. Make a lot of demands and if you show any results make more demands. Really, they are allowed to give you up to 80% rev share, they just think its funny to give you 20% so every time you talk to them. DEMAND that you get more.

-Ignore useful information in forums like this. Go ahead and register, but don't bother to start threads about questions you have or post information that will help other people. After all everyone knows everything and there is no reason we should help each other with our expertise or exchange links.

So there you have it. Follow these steps and you will guaranteed fail. Hope you found this helpful.

That is true. I read stuff but didn't make any posts for a while. Once I started making posts though I became more involved and now I talk over pm with some people and always get good info.

And never never learn new marketing advice. Never purchase anything - dont buy marketing help, advice or tutorials. Maintain full scepticism at all times. Everyone is a scammer, only after your money and nothing else

it's funny, people don't realize how EASY it is to fail affiliate marketing. when people hear that you can make money online while working from home, they automatically assume it's easy money. it actually takes a lot of hard work and dedication!

Why GregK thank you so much for this "uplifting" message. My day just would have not been the same without it.
