Default Uses For Twitter

I know it is really popular, but other than posting about my life (sitting at computer, eating sandwich or sleeping) what else can people post on it. It seems like a big waste of time to post anything at all.

The news channels sure talk a lot about it. I was watching CNN and it seems like they care more about what some random person tweets than reliable sources. Huh?

I found it easy to connect with some big guys and marketers. Also it is interesting how you can learn about them better and then make a more personalized approach.

Hi WestEagle,
Twitter has got many advantages . I use Twitter to get in touch(network)with guys in online marketing. This also helps me widen my readership and to grow my profile.

It is definitely popular and that means there should be some way to monetize it. I think that is the big question on everyones mind right now. Marketers and potential buyers alike.

Some people use twitter to actually post some deals, promotions, I'm going to jump on it later on this week.

I just use it to talk to friends. I never tried to do business on it.

This weekend I saw a funny Daily Show episode where John Stewart talked about twitter. It was from a few weeks ago. It is the section where he talks to the correspondent.
Hulu - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Mon, Mar 2, 2009 - Watch the full episode now.
