CJ.com are holding a webinar to discuss and help on the use of coupons for merchants and affiliates.
Anyone registered or thinking on registering to hear what is being said? It is a bit out of my time zone but registering just to hear what others are saying about the current climate with coupons. You an read more here and register https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/641940916 |

I'm on the same time zone, so I will be able to check it out. I wonder what they will have to say. I thought coupons would be something that stopped as everyone now just displays a low price to begin with and customers shop around much more online than they ever could have in stores.

Just had a look it is 7pm my time so thats fine or me to have listen to it.
Im interested in it as i thought the same as you coupon sites were dying out but they are actually growing and companies are posting them a lot more now. Also in the Uk it is big as there being shown on TV as money saving sites and always in the newspapers. I could kick myself for selling mine.

I have used "coupons" in e-mail campaigns for 10% off. Really it was just a way to track where people were coming from. One email list would have one code and a different list another. It was the same code for everyone on the list, so people could easily duplicate it and they were all for 10%, I just wanted to know how responsive certain lists were. I wonder if this is part of the reason they are making a comeback?

sometimes I feel like CJ is too big for its own good. There comes a point when they know they have enough size that they can ignore the little guy. Am I alone here?

You are right there Greg and that is why im looking at flexoffers.com going to test them out but up untill now they look good.
I use SAS a lot and Avantlink. CJ.com have to many blackhat and spyware affiliates that are making them huge money to stop them doing it.
