Default Setting Up a Directory

I run a site where I have review of various products. I was thinking about trying to set up a directory like they have on many sites, but I was especially thinking of making it like c-net. I wanted users to be able to sort things by price, rating, maker, etc. Is this easy? Are there any good programs out there to help manage it?

Have you tried Hot Scripts - The net's largest PHP, CGI, Perl, JavaScript and ASP script collection and resource web portal. to see if there is anything that will do the job.
