I wanted to see if I could get the amazon.com associate program listed on this site but I'm hesitant for a couple of reasons. First off the revenue is at 4-6% for the volume most affiliates would be at. I have also heard that if the visitor goes to a different product's page and then comes back, the rate decreases. Does anyone have any real experience with it?

Hi GregK,
I've not used amazon affiliate program but I've heard both the good things and the bad things about it. The good thing is that it is a very good and reputed program and the bad thing is the commission they offer , it happens to be very small.

I have been an Amazon affiliate for a couple of years now and it is great. Yes commision payout is low 5 to 7 % but the conversions are pretty good.

that sounds about like what I would have expected. There is so much on there that if you get signed up, you can work many verticals. If you can sell more than 100 items a month the % starts going up though.

Alright, work in progress. I will see what we can do about this, but it might be here sooner than you expect.
