Travel Vertical?

Are people still doing relatively well in the travel vertical albeit the global economy is shit? This was obviously a very hot vertical in the past and people were absolutely banking on it, but is it too late to get started in it?

I don't think its ever too late to get started. If you provide something useful and people find you, they will use your site rather than another. I think travel especially is a niche where people have little loyalty if there is a better deal elsewhere.
