Recession? How it's been for you?

Hi guys,

Just a quick mention on the recession subject. Would be interesting to see if anyone is feeling recession effects on their profits. So far I can't complain as it seems that a lot of people are looking for the best deals online, so sales are actually up.

Would be good to hear your experiences.

Neither up nor down really. Although i have noticed an increase in visitors to my coupon sites it is getting them to convert now. Oviously more people are looking for bargains.

I am actually probably going to make more money this year affiliate marketing than the previous three years combined. I took the lumps during good economic times, it seems, so I could weather this current financial storm. I just need more consistency.

Recession has hit large sized companies with big inflow of money..With that there are few small IT firms as well..where outsourcing has effected a lot..We have just started as a company so we are yet to feel the recession weather.

But we as a company are doing well..getting and delivering projects to the clients is exciting.!

doesn't seem to be affecting me yet. Last month was actually my biggest so far this year, albeit it was only the end of the first quarter

I speak with alot of businesses and I think that people are having a hard time.
But they also like to blame all their problems on the economy, to much exagerating.

Haven't been affected too much. Guess it also depends what niche you're in.
Seems like a lot of people are also doing loan modifications, so this can be good business for those in it.

I won't deny that ou sales have gone down a bit but you simply have to find new ways to make money. For example the crime rate has gone up so we have been targeting our products to security companies who are doing well now.

it's all about adjusting with the marketplace. if your apple trees stop growing apples, start thinking about selling oranges.
