Online Gambling Sites

I am interested in promoting online gambling such as poker, etc. However, I have been informed that this is against the law in the US.

Can anyone share their knowledge on this. I don't want to break any laws or wind up in
jail! I live in Toronto, Canada

I am not sure about the US law and advertising. Some states forbid online gambling.
You'll find a lot of usefull information at casinoaffiliateprograms.com and gpwa.org.
