Google Wave

How can we as affiliates use Google wave? Is it just e-mail/chat room or is it more like twitter? I would love it if we could find out how to use it first and take advantage of it.

I'm hearing a lot of people talking about it but not much talk on how to use it. Is there a beta up?

It sounds to me like the idea is there, but the fullness of its use isn't yet. Like, now you can use google earth from google and there are images and businesses tabbed. They need to find out what else they can do with this basic communication format.

This is way too cool. I could definitely see myself using this to share all kinds of things that I wouldn't want to share on Facebook with strangers. Have you guys ever heard of Plaxo? My friend works for them. I think he'll be looking at the classifieds soon.

edit: According to wiki, they Plaxo has 20 million users! Anyone know Google's install base?
