Wink Affiliate Programs

Newbie Here.

I'm looking for the best affiliate program to join. I'm interested in building a website selling weight loss supplements and handbags, does anyone have any suggestions for me.

It doesnt matter if its my own personal site where I can advertise products or a company where they build the site and maintain it, I just have to market it.

Any suggestions for affiliate programs or independent distrubtors???????

Any suggestions will help,

Liquid

Handbags and weight loss supplements? I guess I can sort of see how those are related, but you might be best creating two websites, one for each.

Liquid, sorry for the confusion, I wasn't joking, you really would be best to have two sites. MrMarco was joking, but with you, not at you.

Here are the places to go to find programs for each of those verticals:

Health - Diet - AffiliatePrograms.com

I would recommend the C9 network as they have a quick response time. Sometimes Sandis finds his way over here though, and he is from the UniqueHoodia Affiliate Program at MoreNiche.

Shopping - AffiliatePrograms.com

I would say amazon.com is the best way to go for handbags.

You are going to want to build your own website so you can include links. It doesn't have to be complicated, feel free to start off as a wordpress blog with your links included and then later you can move to an HTML site

Those are some huge markets. To get anywhere you will first need to plan out your objectives and do some major research on your competitors if you hope to compete.
Developing your own site is probably your best bet if you want to get serious with it. Using pre-developed, borrowed sites will end up being a pain if you do grow and then want to have your own sites. In essence you would have to start all over again.
Affiliate programs for these niches are a dime a dozen. Amazon.com might be good for the shopping bags. If you can concentrate on a few specific brands at first it may be easier than trying to sell a broad market.

Setting up a couple of wordpress blogs on your hosted servers might be best for what you want to do.

The best of luck to you!

I agree, those two are different vertical, you cannot expect to get approved easily by Networks just with one website. I believed Diet/Health vertical is more successful compare to the other.
