Default Question for veteran and newbie affiliates

We all know new affiliates are coming online everyday. We also know the difficulties encountered by newbies when first starting out. So, here’s the question.

If you could design software to help any or all of new or established affiliates and/or vendors what, would it be? What would you want the software to accomplish, and what would be the benefits for each of the above participants. I’m really interested in hearing from people who have given some thought about how new and innovative software will, or could solve a current problem for affiliates and vendors. If you would briefly describe your ideas it would be great. “What the mind can conceive, the mind can achieve.”

Thanks for your participation.

I would like a software that automatically kept track of the payment amounts of every affiliate program so I could see what was paying at that moment. Sort of like CJ but much bigger.

Hello WestEagle:

Thanks for your reply. Interestingly, I have heard this from a few other affiliates as well. What kind of reporting were you thinking about? Are you thinking of an API sort of dashboard where all sales are managed? I’m not really that familiar with CJ so if you could provide a little more information and description it would be appreciated.

If you would like to give it some thought, you can always PM me when you are ready. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.

When you code the software are you giving out free trials?

I know a lot of gambling portals usually use many affiliate programs.
So some sort of control panel along with what WestEagle suggested would be ideal for them.
Perhaps even more in depth where you can graph out detailed statistics across multiple affiliate programs and campaigns.
This way they could see top performers at a glance and zero in on specific criteria.

Thank you for your question.

Yes, as a matter of fact that is something I'm looking at doing. What I would like, is a user group who would test the program and suggest improvements and so on. Test users would be provided with the completed project at no cost.

Thanks again.
