As a one man show, can you be a super affiliate

It's been a while since I visited here, but I am finally going to get off my butt and do something with my websites and affiliate marketing. I have been studying affiliate marketing for a while and do O.K. in dating and with a few other CJ programs. My question though is if you can become a super affiliate by yourself.

So many big affiliates now days are huge companies with heaps of employees. Maybe I am just venting, but I feel like you need to have content writers and constantly be buying links to make it in the big verticals.

Most of those big super affiliates started off as one man teams. As your income increases you will be able to pay people to do this and pay people to do that, maybe even take on a partner and continue to grow...but until that happens just work your a$$ off and you'll get there.

To be honest it depends what you classify a super affiliate as. When I were 22, if I were making 100K as an affiliate I would consider myself a super affiliate. You can make this type of money as a one man show. But at some point you will have to hire people to help run the overall business.

Having to hire people is a great problem to have also. It means you're making $$$

Most of the 'super affiliates' I know are one man operations. A lot of them don't have any employees but they will outsource work using services such as elance and scriptlance. There is no reason why you cant become a super affiliate if you want to be one. Figure out what the people who are succeeding are doing and copy it. If you can copy it and do something extra than you are ahead of the game.

I feel this is possible, if you stop promoting other's program and having your own website and promoting your own products. there are billions of people hungry for making money. definitely you will.

You know the term superaffiliate just conjures up thoughts of loss of anonimity and that just is not what I want from this business

It depends on what you call a one man show. To me a one man show is someone who owns the entire website and doesn't have to split profits with anyone. Hiring employees sucks, because they usually suck. In my opinion I would just outsource work as as your budget allows (like writing, design, coding, etc) and do everything else yourself. If you ever need a helping hand just call on one of your previously outsourced workers.

I wouldn't consider my self a super affiliate but I can make a nice living from my commissions.
I am still working alone since 5 years.
In the last 2 years when my business began to grow I could pay other freelancers for doing work for me. I got somebody who is writing articles for me, somebody for article and directory submissions and am planing to get somebody else to make me templates.
It sure would be nice to employ people but working with other freelancers is very good.
