Profit margin

Hi..
I am thinking of doing affiliate marketing..before I put my feet wet, I need to know this questions..

What sort of profit margin do you guys make? in average...including the cost of hosting, domain's name and revenue??

In affiliate marketing the start up costs are really low. Also the profit from each website could vary with time. Theysay the sky is the limit but an income of a few thousand pounds a month after a few months of hard work, spread over a few sites is not unreasonably

I usually get my cheque on monthly basis. I am actually associated with one affiliate and so my earnings is only the commission i earn through my affiliate. But its the best and high earning deal.
