Any Ideas for a Tattoo Site?

I have a tattoo site that gets a few hundred visitors per day and is making like a buck per day on adsense and the random once every couple of weeks sales to chopper tattoo through clickbank for a $23-$25 sale.

Virtually all of the traffic is through google for people searching for funny tattoos and I suppose just wasting time and f'ing off looking for stupid entertainment. It also gets great newsletter signups but so far attempts to monetize this list have gone pretty poorly.

I like the side because it is a huge test case and I'm willing to try virtually anything on there, so fire away any ideas. I don't really want to invest too much $$ in to anything but more try and better target advertising to the traffic that I'm getting now.

The only thing I can come up with is to captialize on traffic via advertisment. For instance, if you site targets a specific region, say Canada for instance, then you could have a tatoo parlor listing by province for example. You pick up the yellow pages, call tatoo places in major Canadian cities and ask them if they want to be listed on your site for a fee. You include adress, contact info, mapquest link, and URL if they have a site. You charge a flat rate per listing for one year a one year period. Maybe that's a stupid idea lol! But I would certianly try it out to see if it's feasible.

Do you have a forum or community on the site? Perhaps you could incorporate this for tattoo fanatics.

Actually MPC, i've thought about something similar to that... offering localized pages to tattoo removal centers as well as tattoo parlors to advertise their business for local/regional searches.

Original idea was to sell memberships to choppertattoo or tattoomybrain but that turned out to be not the traffic i'm getting, it's more people looking for funny stuff and time wasting stuff.

Nice site JS. Did you design that yourself? I should send you a picture of my buddies awful tattoo. That;s probably a great niche if you can rank for a bunch of tattoo terms.
