How do I use facebook to market my site?

That's something I'd like to consider using to generate some good links back to my sites, to make annoucements, etc. If osmeone has used facebook a sa marketing tool, please give me some info and provide a link (I assume it's a public profile)

The best way is to form a group of some sort and get the group active. Then you can monetize it by holding special events for the group, or introducing special offers.

If you're group becomes big enough, you can also use it as a launching pad for a custom facebook application. Overall though I think marketing on facebook is a million times harder than it used to be on Myspace........ Ahh the good old days.

Also don't forget that their ads system is one of the best currently available. The power of targeting within facebook is currently the most accurate on the internet.

Google adwords can not even compare with it...
