Hello all,
I am looking for new ideas on viral marketing to build traffic to my site. Also looking for low cost ways to build new traffic building reports that can be very useful to my visitors. Any ideas would be most welcome. |

Here are some simple viral marketing techniques, which you can try with your web site, product or business:
-Word of Mouth: Put up a simple tell a friend form so your visitors can easily tell others about your site. -eBooks are proven to go very viral, spreading that word about you. -Viral Software: Some simple software products or applications can be very viral, often passed around or downloaded from the web by thousands each day. ---- Emma Watson Last edited by emma2007; 10-26-2008 at 03:08 PM. |

I really enjoy the youtube viral marketing campaigns. Will It Blend was a good one and I've seen a few others that are pretty entertaining. When I see something funny, I will usually pass it on to a few people.

Well, a lot depends from the niche and the budget you can afford to spend.
However, if you Google up a bit, you can find quite a few posts with ideas, e.g. this one: 37 Viral Post Ideas You Can Use Today |

I wonder about #30 though...are e-books really that effective anymore? it seems like that was the #1 technique a few years ago, and a great way to build up an e-mail list to re-market to. |
