Youtube is the #2 search engine on the web. Over 100 Million videos are viewed each day. We all know that most of the more popular ones are humor based, but there are other ways to take advantage of the site.
1. Post a how to video that uses your product in one of the step. If you sell hammers, make a "how to hang a picture" video and mention why your hammer is better. If you are a website, post a "how to do internet research" and mention your site. 2. Do a product review of something you affiliate for. Go above and beyond a text review and show how the product is used. Make it short and useful and then post your affiliate link in the annotations and info. 3. Make a documentary video related to your product and put a sponsored by image of your product. For example, if you make surfboards, you could post a short video about the thrill of finding new waves and then throw up your product at the end for 3-5 seconds.

that is true! I go on youtube all the time to see how to do things. There are great photshop techniques and even things on how to play sports. I bet it would work to market something you sold really well.
