How do we best use article marketing?
I see distinct pages were you can write some simple articles.

What is the best way to get approved?

Some different articles pages, allow variable number of keywords.
I get some articles on list top ten on Google. Means free traffic.
How we get best connect with tittle, board, and author?

Than, I sure everyone can get some tittle (keywords), and begin write the article. Make 200+ words, just make sure that repeat 3 times that keyword.

The Best way to get approved is to have an article that is grammatically correct. Having some sort of quality information also helps.

I submit articles with fairly good results.
If you write quality articles, many webmasters will post them on their site giving you even more links to your site.

My top competitor has over 2 million links pointing to it.
I wonder how many articles I need to write in order to catch them?

Get some keywords, variation and I recomend.
Write 2 articles a day, by 3 months or 6 months. You will get near.

I thought you were being sarcastic at first but I just did the math, depending on how many directories you posted them to it could be possible in 6 months to a year at 2 articles per day considering some webmasters pick them up.

These days it seems article quality has gone down and less webmasters are reusing them as everyone know see every link as golden coin, not to give it to others. But yeah, if you have 2 backlinks per article, make two articles per day, submit to 20 sites, that works out as 80 links per day. It is not quite as that easy. But yeah, you can get couple hundred links per month if put the right efforts in. Beauty is, you can outsource this quite easily.

However, don't relay solely on this method, diversify!

Sandis is right. People know the value of links and now that Google won't let you sculpt PR with nofollow links, they will become even more valuable. If you find a way to get quality links, stick to it and work hard, every link counts.
