Affiliate promoting without a website

Promoting without a website is possible, but I agree with Derek's comment about giving it time if you're promoting via PPC. At least having a simple landing page will help you determine what keywords/phrases are working best.

Also, not every merchant that has an affiliate program that will permit direct linking. In this case, it may be better to have a blog as a landing page with relevant content if you're promoting a merchant that doesn't permit direct arbitrage.

Either, ask the affiliate manager what the best approach is and which merchants permit this type of placement. Also, read the terms and conditions of that program.
