Hi All!! I am a newbie in the world of affiliate programs promotion and I'm not sure if this question has already been answered. I've read a few articles about affiliate programs, yet I'm still in the process of building a better knowledge base. I do not have a website of my own, but I've read that you could still join an affiliate program without your own personal website. I did some brainstorming on what my interests are and decided to promote diet based website. As I was signing up for the affiliate program on ediet.com it asked me for my website information. My questions is, Do I need my own website to sign up for certain and/or all affiliate programs? If not, how can I bypass that part when filling out the form during sign up?

Hello,
Yes this is true that you can join affiliate program without any site. You can just make a blog in any blog host and start promoting your affiliate links there. Else you can directly promote affiliate links but that is not long lasting. The proper way is start blogging and earn money online. My affiliate Referforex.com is absolutely free and allows affiliate marketing without a site. You just need to register and place banners, links in some appropriate places and start earning commission. Regards

I am new but as I see it Yes it is totally possible. You just have to use and ad placement service. This is just what I have figured out this on my own. I use my blog home page that I design around me being an affiliate marketer. Please feel free to mention other ways. this is the way I did it.

Glad to meet you!!! Wealthy affiliate is a popular program but i cant really say whether its worthy or not because i haven't used it and many of my friends have also not undertaken it. Also the main thing for an affiliate program is the time in which the returns it would be fetching. As all the affiliate programs requires some time to give results and therefore the setup time of your affiliate program is unknown to me. The program i am marketing is quite fast and if the site is popular you can even get returns from the very next day. Regards

You don't need your owm website for affiliate marketing. You could always use the google cash method or craigslist. But it certainly makes things easier to have a web presence under your control.
A blogger blog is a simple but effective way of getting around the website building issue. Guide to building a blogger blog is an easy to follow guide.

As mentioned, blogger.com is a good place to start your website. Another option is squidoo.com
I've recently set up a free website for a cpa offer I'm promoting on weebly.com What I like most about Weebly is that you can set up static pages and a blog, and they don't add any pop-up or banner ads to your site, just a small link at the bottom of the page. Whichever option you decide to use, make sure you have some content related to the product you'll be marketing posted on the site before you submit it to affiliate networks or programs you're applying to. Direct linking is the professional term for affiliate marketing without a website. I would say it is a rather advanced technique.
All the previous posters that have answered your question, have done so in good faith. I will agree with them on one thing though, give it TIME. This is NOT a sprint. The closest thing to it is PPC and to make money, that is an advanced technique. So, just buy some hosting, throw up a little blog, learn about about optimizing (SEO) and your training has begun. If you have any questions, just message me.
