Question Most Newbies Might Ask

Hello,

Currently I'm running ONE google adwords campaign to test my keyword and title selections, however I got one question.

The ad is promoting my website and products, so...

Should the ad promote the website and products, or is it more targeted if you promote one product under targeted keywords instead of promoting the whole website and products in general?

Just wondering if affiliates are successful promoting A products rather than a website full of products....

Really a good question.

According to me, if you design a good an quality landing page promoting a single product then there are higher chances of conversion.

You also can add links to relevant and alternative products at the bottom or can write a small review of the website also.

This will surely increase the conversion.

well, think about it this way, if I am searching for a pair of Puma shoes, I might want a site that sells lots of shoes, but really I only care about Puma shoes right then. I would much more likely click on an ad that said "we have puma shoes and lot of other shoes" than one that said "we have lots and lots of shoes".

Agreed that specific targeting is the best method for conversions.....
Now if you want to Brand your name you might go with targeting your site. But this is more to get people familiar with your name for later sales. People are very suspicious of new sites, as they should be. There are a lot of scams out there.
By branding your name people will start associating your name with the products that you do sell. You also start building trust with them.
Branding can get very expensive with little immediate benefit though.
This is something HCG and many others do every couple of months just to keep people familiar with them.
