Awesome Name!
It has a great sound to it. Let us know when you get something up. I just started a log of my new site design and how I am implementing it. There may be some information there to assist. IT is majorly concerning on site SEO. SEO Challenge - Template Tutorial - Noobs Welcome Try not to get too far ahead of yourself. Take your time and create your site correctly. You will want to plan your marketing. There is plenty of info on this forum and others to give you more than enough marketing ideas. I see you are from Ohio.......I'm next to Chicago on the Indiana side.

Thanks. I had a crap load of really good names picked out, but all the .com versions were taken & I wanted a .com. They just seem more professional to me. However, it is catchy & lets you know what the site might contain.
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out this week as my next step is learning how to build/design my home page. I plan on doing a brief write up on the home page of reasons to start & benefits of owning a saltwater reef aquarium. I actually started a thread on one of my favorite saltwater forums asking the members why they started their aquariums & what benefits they were receiving from them. I'll probably ask a few of the member who have extremely beautiful tanks if I can use some of their pictures (is there any legal issues about this). I want the home page to get you excited about starting a saltwater reef aquarium. I'll post it as soon as I get' er done as I'll want feedback before pushing it. I definitely plan on taking it slow & trust me, if you know anything about saltwater reef aquariums, I have learned to take it slow. Nothing happens fast in my hobby except tank death. I just like to know what road(s) I might have to cross next. Yes, I am from the armpit of America (Ohio). I currently live in Youngstown (near Cleveland). Hopefully we'll become buddies from this business. I really need this to work for me. I used to be a loan officer for a mortgage company, then jumped on the real estate investing bandwagon. After a few bad decisions & some help from the current market, I have been reduced to a telemarketer (huge pay cut) living at moms. How's this biz treating you? Oh, what does SEO stand for? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) It is the concept that you design your site to organically rank high in the search engines for keywords that are relevant to you site. For you, it would help if you ranked high in Google for the phrases, "salt water aquarium" "aquarium" and other similar terms. You can do more research on what terms are most searched at: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Sometimes it easy to forget that not everyone uses terms like "SEO", "CPA, "CPM, and others every day. ![]() This is where Google becomes your best friend. As for business, it is a little tight at the moment as it is for most retailers. Many people are heading on vacation at this time of year. This is the time of year I like to do major updates in preparation for the Christmas season. As you probably know or have heard, Christmas is when retailers make the majority of their profits. So being well prepared for it pays off. Nothing worse than finding a bug during a Major Sale.
