Hi
I just started Affiliate Marketing two weeks ago. My Affiliate Programs are all from Clickbank. So far for the two weeks, I have about 50 visitors clicking my affiliate links but no sale yet. I am seeking for tips on how to effectively conclude sales in Affiliate Marketing. Any advice will be appreciated...........

Hi twc, first off, I don't think 50 clicks with no sales is anything to be worried about. Of course you are right for wanting to find out how to convert better, but in all reality, you shouldn't be worried after two weeks for not having made a sale, it can take months to get that first one.
My advice to you would be to look into what people are searching to find you. The more specific the keyword, the closer they are to buying the product and the more sales you will make. For example, the term "sports car info" would get a lot of people just curious, but people searching for "2009 ford mustang cobra red v8" already know what they are looking for and are more likely to buy if they see a good price. What vertical are you focusing in?

At 50 clicks and no sales I wouldn't be too worried
Having said that there is the concept of commission theft. This is where people see a product you are promoting, register for their own affiliate link and buy it using that link. For this reason you really should consider cloaking your links. [Pretty easy if you have your own website read how to cloak your affiliate links. It.s a step by step guide] I wpuld advice also that you should go for other affiliate networks e.g commission junction and linkshare.

How common do you think commission theft is? I feel that with a lot of products, anyone who would actually want them probably wouldn't have the understanding to perform commission theft.
