Default What article submission way is good for SEO

Hello members:

I am new to this forum. I just found this great forum and I like to thank you for creating a good forum for us to communicate.

I like to have one question relates to article submission. Which way is better in SEO?

1) Should I create 1 article and submit to 100 article directories?
2) Should I create 100 articles and submit to 1 article directory?

Is 1) better than 2) or 2) better than 1)?

Thanks.

I like option 2 but Im no expert and 100 articles would definitely be hard to write. I guess it's a question between 100 solid links that will get indexed or 100 different site links... some may which not get indexed at all.. I'd love to hear what the experts have to say... Kyle?

as per my opinion which is not included in the list, create 100 articles (7 to 10 articles per week) and submit to 100 article directories.
let see others opinion.....

Business wise - you want to get maximum out of every article and out of every submission. For this to happen you have to avoid dupe content.

The safest bet is take the original article and submit to directory (ezinearticles.com should be your first one), then take same article and modify it a bit, like title, first paragraph, last paragraph, and submit to second site. And so on with all the others.

What is happening here - you're submitting now a bit of variation of original article. Secondly - you don't need to write completelly new article.

I've heard that duplicate content isn't as bad as some people think. I think I read an article saying that it is only bad if the duplicate content is a direct copy from a bunch of sites and then on yours. I think if you link back to your site with the same article and then have some new content on your site, you could post the article all over.

I guess search engines are always changing though, so who knows

There do seem to be a lot of repeat subjects in this section.

Well, thats important topic, and while people want to be lazy as much as possible, various tests shows that Google index limited amount of duplicated pages or at least tries to show less pages than there actually are with the same content.

Speaking of dupe content - well, you can consider it to a degree as non-existent content. In the early stages of algorithm in 2006 it was really obvious - dupe pages simply didn't get indexed so links from these pages neither were counted. Aka useless pages with useless links. Long term you wana be sure every article you submit, you get in return some action.

Use DupeCop.com to change your articles around at least a bit, like title, paragraph here and there.

I don’t personally have any issues with this. Most of the articles on directories can be found in a million places. I’ve yet to notice any penalization but there are a lot of forces in play here so if you are really worried, take the time to modify your articles or only submit original content.
