Only a PR 9?

I'd love to know how WordPress › Blog Tool and Publishing Platform is only a pr9 when there are million of sites linking to it sitewide? If that can't get a pr10 then what can?

It's pretty interesting, that's for sure. I agree that wordpress.org should probably be a PR10. Actually achieving it is near impossible though and always has been, to answer the second part of your question.

I haven't seen any PR10 sites, besides Google. Even Facebook is PR9.

NASA and Adobe both used to be ten's, now are both nines.

Hmmm I was going to say that adobe is ten but from the previous post, it seems they are now 9

as of December 2008 there are 5 PR 10 sites.

Google
US Government site
India Government site
Adobe Flash Player
& a CSS checker

Considering all the people in the US & India that need tax forms & all of the people that use the internet & download flash player, I would say the CSS site is doing a pretty good job for itself.

I am struggling to get PR 5 right now.... I cant say PR 9 is "only PR 9". I know how much efforts and hard work it needs.
