Is submitting to Dmoz still worth it? They took it out of google's guidelines.

Obviously it’s useful. DMOZ is a largest directory, but it takes a long time to review any site.

The honest truth is nobody knows

You are right, directories has been taken off googles own guide to optimization, but dmoz feeds google and I wonder if that will affect the way Google treats dmoz links

Still worth submitting to dmoz though

You might want to consider become an editor. Apparently it helps speed things up
