Question Best Way to Get Indexed in Google

What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

I have been using social bookmarking with good success, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing.

The best way to get indexed in the search engines is to let them find you rather than you submitting your site to them

Create links to your website with article submissions or forum participation

The search engines will then find your site when they crawl the relevant article directory or forum

I am no expert but if you want to be indexed you just links to your site. If you want your site indexed fast then you can try social bookmarking. IMO it's better to wait the extra few days and just get quality links pointing to your site.

Smile go with

I think I go with niche' s reply. Building links to the site say quality links from high PR pages makes site to be indexed by google or any other SEs.

There is probably no best way...anything from linking to your new site from another, commenting on do follow blogs or forums, etc with get your site indexed. To acheive a high initial ranking you should try to get a link to your site on a site with as high a ranking as possible...in my opinion.

In my opinion, building links for the new site is the best way to get it indexed. That being said, I suggest you not to go for 'sitewides' for the new site. Social bookmarking is another way to get the site indexed but in any case, building links is the best way - IMO.

I agree sitewide or run of site links are not best for your first few links, but I do like run of site links once you are up and going for a while. Also another great way to rank well is to post daily unique content to your site. This keeps the search engine spiders coming back over and over.

Default indexing

Am also quite new to this thing. But I have fair success in developing back links. Forum posting, blog commenting, link exchange and building will definitely help in indexing faster.

Yep! I agree. Posting quality and unique content regularly will improve the frequency of spiders and will also help you to improve traffic on the website.
