Have any of you been studying your keyword placements in Google's webmaster tools and see some totally unexpected keywords you are ranking for?
I recently had it happen to me and it came from a blog entry of mine, though I see it has moved now. I was ranking #3 for "Hand Held Artillery" ![]() Anyone else rank for something totally off the wall like this?

I don't know if I've ever ranked for anything totally crazy but I have seen some pretty wierd searches that turned up my site. For instance something like "Amish Nudist Gorilla" I can assure you that I have never written anything about free spirited yet technological repressed apes but I'm sure all of those words were on the site somewhere. Maybe the person ended up deep in the caverns of Google. Like page 100 deep.

Well, this sometimes happens in search engine as the keywords are selected depending on the content we have, however, this can prove to be good for us or sometimes can prove to be a drawback as you write content to make sure that you get good rankings for a keyword which is more relevant and powerful and you get rankings for a keyword which is hardly used in search engines
