Default Sudden drop for Google may signal rise in SERPS

Google has been playing the meanest tricks on me of late.
It seems every time I make a major jump in the SERPS I disappear from Google's listings for several days before coming back better than ever.

It has happened to me 3 times in the past 2 months.
First I changed my title tags to perform a test. Poof I was gone.
But three days later I was back with a rise in the SERPS.
Next I changed some text on several main categories. The next day I was gone. 2 Days later I was back with a rise.

Next, I had some one manually list me in 600 directories over the past couple of weeks. You guessed it. Gone again. This time for 4 days.
I checked this morning and I am above the fold on many 1st page SERPS!
PLUS, I now have page 1 and 2 rankings for keywords I never even ranked for before.

So if your site suddenly disappears but still has indexed URLs, you may just be going through the Google Torture.

I don't understand why I get removed every time I do something and then come back in a couple of days.
If I were a drinking man I would be constantly drunk of late.

No I think they are "Google Dance". Google has many datacenter on earth so they sync their servers to have the same data and that's it.

I've heard that too. Sometimes you rank high on your local server and when all the data combines, it takes a few days for the data to balance out.

It's little bit funny but if we are ranking on 2nd page for some keyword on local search engine and if we try to search for the same on other server, we are ranking higher. Is it worthful?

I has happened to me before to, but with cashed pages. I guess this is just the process of some kind of verification for Google.
I have just changed the Title of my blog, let's see how that goes.
