Thumbs up Article Marketing - Share Your Experiences Here

Hey there everyone,
I would really love to hear about Article/BUM Marketing from others.

So If you are already promoting your websites with Article Marketing, then it would be better if you can tell a little bit more about your experience, your techniques and give us some more tips.

P.S:- I will also tell my experience after few posts have been done.

Article marketing is a good way to drive traffic to your sites but it is very effort intensive. You need to post a lot of articles to generate a significant amount of traffic to your sites

Also the way you write your article is important [more info at http://www.affiliatemarketingintro.c...ing-Tips.html]

All said and done bum marketing works but I don't use it as my sole source of traffic

I also am aware that some people use article submission software and post to a gazillion article directories

I have only ever posted manually to a couple of directories but have found the results to be quite good

Article marketing is a great way to build back links to your sites. You have to submit different articles to different directories and than they get syndicated onto other sites. Like anything the better you write them and the more you write the more benefit you will get out of it.

I'm not an expert as I've just started with article marketing....I'm still learning but I think it's good. It takes a lot of time to promote the articles effectively but it's worth it. The traffic keeps increasing though it's not that much.

Great tips.

Well in my opinion, you should write one unique article and submit it to Ezinearticles and afterthat, rewrite that actual article and submit it to other directories such as:
GoArticles
Articledashboard
Searchwarp etc..

Finally, make sure if you are promoting your articles and in resource box, you have a link to your blog. It should be filled with some unique content so that, you should start getting some organic traffic.

EzineArticles is probably the highest ranking article directory to submit articles to. There are some other with good rankings too. Maybe soll post a list of the best article directories to submit unique articles too.

GoArticles is also a good one. I usually see articles from GoArticles in high positions....
