You need to post lots of quality content with tons of quantity. The spiders seem to love video, forums, and blogs.

The best way to get your site indexed is to design a sophisticated Content Management System that is compatible across Internet Browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox); compatible across technological devices (i.e. Mac, pc, cell phone); can support multiple languages; and most importantly utilizes site and search engine friendly URL's that are language like. The construction of your URL extension, keywords, meta-tags, and a SEO site will all work together to allow individuals to find the content/information they want from the onset and from any number of technological devices capable of accessing the Internet.

Search Engines spend tremendous time, resources, and money safeguarding themselves from “Black-Hat Techniques” and there is NO point in spending money effectively trying to “trick” Search Engines. Search Engines generate tremendous revenue with their “paid listings,” but it is not necessary to pay Search Engines, or pay SEM and SEO companies to achieve a Top 10 Ranking. Web sites today are becoming pieces of software commonly known as Content Management Systems (CMS). CMS can be Search Engine Optimized during the developmental stages. As you add various forms of content to your website/CMS, relevant Keywords, descriptions, and summaries are automatically created and submitted to the major Search Engines. Because your website is a piece of software, it is capable of being updated; it is capable of evolving, changing, and conforming to Search Engine and Web Standards. Rather than being misinformed and throwing money away on SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns, you should re-evaluate your sites architecture/construction and if you are not already look into re-developing your site or creating a Global Web Presence that is Search Engine Optimized from the onset. Video poses new problems for website owners and when developing a Dot TV Network where video is the primary type of content, it is of pinnacle importance your Dot TV Channel is SEO. So, what I am hearing is that if I am building a new site or blog, which I am, I DO NOT submit it to a directory? Has something changed that I am not aware of? I just want to be thorough because the game does change overnight on the internet. I want to do it right the first time so that changes are easier and systematic.
