If I am not mistaken, .ws is the site code for Samoa. I believe it stands for Western Samoa. What is the benefit of someone in the US or Europe of having a Samoan website?

well actually our company offers .com.net.org. and many others depending on whats available, but .ws is there main one and inresponse to what would a person from the us or europe do witha dot ws name is that unless
are opening up a biz in that country, it doesn't really matter what dot domain you have if you only doing biz on the internet it is worldwide and every on the internet has access to it, right now there are so countrys that share the .com name, dot us or dot uk are only beneficial if most of your customer base is in those countrys, not if your base is world wide

There is a certain amount of trust that comes with a .com though. That is why they fetch a much higher price than a .net of the same keywords.
