Hi QGroup. I like the feel of that site a lot. My spanish isn't what it used to be so I couldn't understand everything, but understood the basics. Do you have a simpler domain for it? I don't know if that is a directory listing or a third party store, but the domain is pretty complicated. Maybe if you got something simple like, englishforeveryone.com it would help bring traffic.

Hey WebMarketer,
I took a look at the site. I think your graphics and videos are really great, it looks like you put a lot of work into those and I'm sure they are working for you. My one comment is that I am not a big fan of the single page sales site and yours is leaning that way. I think you have a lot of good info and it might be cool to try and spread it out and fill out the site. Put a reviews page and a buy now page with the offer details. It looks like your affiliate program is a good offer for anyone with a music niche and the fact that it is through clickbank is a big plus. I hope things are going well, but if you ever feel the need to experiment, I think a fuller website might be a good place to start.

Hi pomp,
Having been heavily involved in gambling portals (gambling.com, worldforumpoker, gamblingregister and others) in the past perhaps I can make a couple of suggestions.. Your tutorial page starts all of the tutorials at one time. Not good.... Your home page and portal pages contain duplicate content. Google will slap you for this. You are giving good SEO to other sites but none to yourself. In all of those links that you have pointing to other sites include rel="nofollow" in the anchor tag. Though there is some talk of Google changing this effect they currently have not. Also, wherever you use pokerpeople in a link make it more SEO friendly. Perhaps use Poker People as this may be more relevant than an unrecognized word of pokerpeople. I believe you may want to categorize your Ads by Bonus Type. No Deposit - 100% Bonus etc... This allows people to quickly find what they are looking for. No need to have all of those giant banners, it is better to use a small image or icon and then write a paragraph about the poker room or casino. This also gives you added relevant text on your page. Perhaps include a Poker Room directory where you cross list all of the poker rooms by bonus category, room type, freerolls available, USA friendly, and so on. This is one project I have on the back burner that may better explain this: Casino Promotions Look at your top competitors and see what they are doing also. And whatever you do, do not allow your portal/forum to be available to people that live in Kentucky in the U.S. You may want to do some research on what states you should disallow. Best of luck to you.

I have been working on a site. I am somewhat restricted by the sitebuilder but am pushing through none the less. It is a work in progress and I am planning to work on it alot this weekend. So, your offer is right on time. We have alot of interest in our offerings (it is a unique site), and I am adding a store shortly, but please- take a look. www.rastavacations.com Thank you. |

I'll start with the good. You have obviously put a lot of time in to the site. You have approvals by many of the respected industry names and you have a variety of affiliate links. One thing that was hard for me was the black text on the dark green background. I realize you were going for the poker table look there, but maybe you could play around with some other options, like having the text be white and the links be red or blue like poker chips. Finally, you might want to take down a few of the tall banners. I know you're going for options but the banners go down twice as far as the text on the home page, which can come off wrong. If you decide to make any of the changes, let me know and we can all have another look.

My guess is you found us through the newsletter, right? Either way, here it goes. Great fun interface, I don't know what site builder you are using, but there is a lot going on. Sometimes sites with too much going on get a little distracting though, make sure your site feels relaxing and exciting at the same time, much like the tirps you are promoting. Finally, I viewed it in a high resolution with a big monitor and it was fine, but when I shrank it to see what it would be like in 600x800 the site didn't shrink with me. This means someone with a smaller computer monitor will only see part of your site and have to scroll to see the rest, not something many people enjoy. It might be a good idea to try and fix this. I like the rasta idea, maybe you could fix all of the text to the three rasta colors, red, green and yellow. I saw some things in blue and orange and it might help you to simplify it a bit and make those colors stand out. After all, those colors don't run... they just sit at home on the couch watching Jud Apatow movies.
