For anyone that is familiar with running affiliate offers and signed up with a few different ad networks, you are probably already aware that many networks share offers or broker out campaigns to other networks. There is nothing wrong with this, but as more offers continue to get spread amount the networks, it does mean that some networks are getting lower payouts and may be taking higher margins.
With all of that said, it’s important to understand that not all networks and affiliate offers are created equal, nor are their payouts. This is one of the main reasons why it is so important for you to join the top affiliate networks and run your own comparison of each.
Personally, I’m signed up with as many networks as I can find. This way I can access all of their offers and view the latest rate increases and see what new offers have been added to the network or currently paused and removed. Being signed up to all of the ad networks can take a lot of time and patience… but there is a better solution.
Thankfully there are a few affiliate network comparison web sites out there that allow you to search for an offer, then it will pull up the networks that are currently running the offer and the amount each network is paying for each.
Comparing Top Networks Affiliate Payouts
Below I have listed three of the most used and well put together affiliate network comparison and resource sites. Be sure to check them all out. Affiliate paying specializes in affiliate network reviews, while oDigger and OfferVault have offers sorting and network comparison capabilities.
How to Get the Highest Payouts from Ad Networks
Now that you have some useful tools to find out the top affiliate networks and search out which offers have the highest payouts and where, you can now start joining more networks and expand your coverage and selection of offers.
Just knowing what affiliate offers and networks out there aren’t enough. There are many other factors in getting the highest payouts when running affiliate offers. The best way to get the highest payouts are the following factors:
- Volume – The volume you are able to push is always going to be important. Ad networks want to work with affiliates that can push volume, and they will almost always pay more for it.
- Quality – Even more than volume, quality is king when it comes to networks and advertisers. A great example of quality leads can be seen in the dating space. The dating networks want people who join and become paid members, not just free accounts on their sites.
- Who You Know – Another way to fluctuate and request higher payouts also comes down to who you know. If you are working with your affiliate manager a lot, they are going to make the effort to set you up with higher payouts.
In the end, the best way to get the highest payout from affiliate networks is to focus on all three of the points above. Most high volume and successful affiliate marketers are driving the majority of their leads in one niche. Pick one area, get awesome at it, and provide high quality and massive volume… this is the best way to long term success and high end payouts.
