How to Find Profitable ShareASale Niches

If you’re a beginner affiliate marketer you probably know about Amazon Associates or Clickbank.

But…

You may not know about ShareASale.

This post we want to show you why you should give this network a try and promote some of their offers.

ShareASale is not only about digital products (like ClickBank).

Here, you can promote virtually any type of product. There are books, software, clothes, computers, food, education, and loads of other things.

Finding Profitable Niches on ShareASale

First of all, you can use ShareASale as a researching tool.

Yes, the network is not only great for signing up to actual affiliate programs but also for finding new and interesting niches.

The marketplace at ShareASale is so big that it can give you many ideas on what’s worth pursuing at the moment.

Therefore, when you’re searching for a new niche, it’s good to start in the “Top 100 Power Rank” section.

ShareASale Niches

First, you have to sign up for an affiliate account. When you’re done with the process you can login, go to the top menu and select “search for merchants” (image below).

Then in the left menu you’ll see a link labeled as “Top 100 Power Rank.”

When you click it, you’ll be presented with a list of 100 highest-rated programs at ShareASale.

Those programs are in the top 100 for a reason.

Every great program has a consistent EPC over a longer period of time, and a very low reversal rate.

Also, it provides a range of affiliate tools to make your promotions even easier.

In some cases, you don’t even have to launch a separate site to promote a given program.

Some offers are so universal that you can market them to your existing audience, no matter what the topic of your site is.

Searching By Category

If you want to get a little deeper into your research, you can search for new niches by browsing ShareASale’s directory by category.

Currently, there are 39 main categories available. Every one of them has a number of subcategories and hundreds of different affiliate programs. There are almost 3,600 programs in total (at the time of writing).

When browsing a given category it’s best to search for programs that bring consistent results for other affiliates. Just because a given niche has a number of products available doesn’t mean that those products are profitable.

Each offer at ShareASale presents a 7-day and a 30-day trend for EPCs, reversal rates, and other factors.

If a handful of top products in a niche bring consistent results (that are either steady or on the rise) then it’s a good indicator that the niche can be profitable for you too.

Depending on the nature of the niche you may, or may not have to create a new site to take part in it.

Promoting What’s New

If you want to jump on whatever’s new in the marketplace, you can use the “New in Last 20 Days” section.

There are usually between 50 and 100 new products there. However, keep in mind that most of the time the only metric you get are the 7-day results of the programs, so they are not that certain to be profitable. But if they are, you might be able to capitalize big time just because you’re one of the early adopters.
